Let’s Do Life Church is founded on Jesus’ promise of abundant life. We help people grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out God’s Word in everyday life. Together, we’re learning to walk in the fullness of the life Jesus came to give.

Wayne Houston
Sr. Pastor, Founder
Wayne Houston was born in Chicago, Illinois, to a devoted Evangelist mother who had a passion for leading others to Christ. Her example deeply influenced Wayne, and at just 15 years old, he made the life-changing decision to give his heart to the Lord. From that moment forward, he committed himself to faithfully serving God.
In 2000, Wayne began serving as a Deacon at New Home Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. After completing his theological training at R.C. Blakes Bible College and Theological Seminary, he was ordained as an Elder in 2004. He furthered his theological education with a year of study at the American Baptist College in 2010 in Nashville, TN. In 2014, Wayne was ordained once again, this time at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Madison, Mississippi.
He is also a certified Chaplain, credentialed through Texas University of Theology.
While seeking God for his next assignment, Wayne and his wife, LaKeisa, worshipped and served together at 5G Reformation Church in Midlothian, TX. After years of prayer, preparation, and obedience, God birthed a new vision.
In January 2025, that vision became a reality with the launch of Let’s Do Life Church in Waxahachie, Texas.
Wayne’s heart is to see communities and individuals experience the fullness of life that Jesus promises in John 10:10—"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.."
LaKeisa Houston
Executive Pastor
Executive Pastor LaKeisa Houston’s heart for ministry began in a loving Christian home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. As a little girl, she loved singing and being in church. Around the age of nine, her father, who also served as her pastor, led her to Christ, and she was subsequently baptized in water. As a young adult, her mother, also a minister, guided her in receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Her desire to know God’s Word more deeply led her to Charis Bible College in Dallas, Texas, in 2020. She graduated in 2022 with an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies. She is a member of the Association of Related Ministries International (A.R.M.I.), affiliated with Andrew Wommack Ministries, and a certified chaplain through Texas University of Theology.
LaKeisa and her husband, Wayne, attended 5G Reformation Church in Midlothian, Texas, where she served as Children’s Director. Her love for the next generation continues through the annual co-ed Teen Purity Conferences she hosts, encouraging young people to honor God and make choices grounded in His Word. She also hosts an annual Women’s Vision Retreat, creating space for women to strengthen their faith, seek God’s direction, and move forward with purpose.
As Executive Pastor of Let’s Do Life Church, LaKeisa is passionate about serving the community, nurturing meaningful relationships, and helping build a healthy church that connects people with Jesus. She believes ministry reaches beyond Sunday services—it means walking alongside people through the joys, challenges, and everyday moments of life.
Her ministry motto reflects that heart: “Let’s Do Life—because life is better when we live it together through Christ.”
